On the way home from Boston this morning, I took this shot. Normally I travel south to Washington (my hometown), so I don’t see this particular view of Manhattan. It’s stunning!
I had a long day yesterday, and some family obligations today. So I will just leave it at this photo…and well, maybe this sketch. I did this for the moderator of the event with Yo-Yo Ma beforehand, showing him what side I’d like to sit on the stage. Drawn on my phone. Anyway, turns out I was put on the other side for cello reasons! All good.
The evening I shared collaborating with Mr. Ma last night was amazing! New vantage points, new ways of seeing and hearing.
Happy Thursday, see you tomorrow.

Loved this! First time Ive ever had to think of "Cello reasons!"
I think I know why!

This is the coolest moment in the history of cartooning.
