Good Monday morning, everyone.
Half the time, what I do in my drawings is play with words. When the GOP finally won over the House, I did the drawing below. Cats like to think they’re better than dogs, or so I assume. I have had cats all my life, and now have two. At one point, we had three dogs and four cats at the same time, so I am an authority on the subject.
So horrible about the LGBTQ fatal shooting in Colorado, my heart goes out to all.
Here is my response to that:
As you know, I have been a big fan of Twitter since I started there in 2008. It will be hard to leave, and I haven’t left yet. Twitter is on shakey ground. Musk is annoying, potentially dangerous. I’m exploring other avenues while staying there for now. One new site, now in Beta, is called Post. Will let you know how it goes, you can get on their wait list. I am one of a few thousand “testers,” introduced in by Kara Swisher. She interviewed me a few months ago when she worked at the NYTImes. Here is the interview, in which I answered her questions with drawings (scroll down in the article to see the part with my drawings).
Happy Thanksgiving week. See you tomorrow.
That was really interesting - to see you answers in your drawings. It seems we can tell how you feel by what you choose to draw and how you draw it. More interviews like that!
Love the drawings, Liza. And I do think cats feel superior to dogs. And speaking of cats, did you ever hear Edith Wharton's definition of a cat? "A snake in furs." Happy Thanksgiving!
