I bring this out every so often when it seems applicable.

So the GOP now have a Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson. He’s a hard-right evangelical Christian. He had a leading role in trying to overturn the 2020 election. Today Trump endorsed him, Stefanik nominated him in a lie-filled speech. He has no experience leading, and while may not be a “legislative terrorist” as Jim Jordan has been described, but he might become one. It’s frightening how the GOP is still tied to Trump. But maybe it will eventually be good for the Democrats down the line. I imagine they will use what they can from this debaucle.

I must be feeling better, my rage at certain politicians is resurfacing.

What’s funny about Covid this time (I had it once before) is that I now notice the brain fog is real. And that my typing is sloppier than usual. Go figure.
