Some of you know I do this kind of post every so often, just haven’t in a while. I live-draw someone on the street, in the subway or, in this case, sitting in a doctor’s office waiting room. She sat like this for a while, and I felt concern for her. She looked worried.
Anyway, I was just there for a check-up after having had pneumonia, I’m fine. But as I was waiting, my mind told me all kinds of stories about this woman. She was waiting, but I will never know for what.
Here is the video grab.
Thanks for being here, see you tomorrow.
Liza, another touching and beautiful drawing. It reminded me of a photograph I took of my wife waiting in a hospital in Seattle 18 days before she died of cancer. Your drawing captures the mystery of humanity at a moment of uncertainty.
She was probably wondering how to pay for her visit if the orange man's muskrat cuts Medicare. xoxox Very glad to hear you're better. Stay that way, please.
