Good evening! I just finished live-drawing the Academy Awards, and will post them all tomorrow here. I am beat! Here’s a sample of what I drew tonight…
But for now, I will share one drawing I did today at a talk/interview with podcaster, journalist, co-founder of Vox Media’s Recode, Kara Swisher and entreprenuer Mark Cuban at SXSW (Parenthetically, I was interviewed for the NYTimes by Kara a few years ago. She suggested I answer her questions in drawings, which I did).
It was a fast-paced, fascinating (and very funny at times) conversation about tech, journalism and politics. I enjoy hearing Kara’s take on things: she’s realistic but optimistic She’s not “scared” of AI: It’s what we do with it.
The Oscars were fun—I thought it was a great group of films this year!
