Things are getting wild

Late Sunday afternoon live-drawing. Playing with a new graphite stick I gave myself for Christmas. I was so excited to find it in the art store I bought one for everyone in my family, whether they wanted one or not. It’s been sitting on the table, unused, for almost a month. What’s wrong with me?

Not to break the calm of the moment, but Rick Desantis suspended his bid for the GOP nomination. We thought he might. Now people are asking Nikki Haley if she’d consider running in a third party. She says no, but I think she should do anything she can to beat Trump. Things are getting wild. And, Trump is showing real signs of mental confusion, perhaps decline, in some of the speeches lately, repeatedly confusing Haley with Nancy Pelosi. I frankly really hope his mind continues in that direction, it may be a way to finally get rid of him.

This morning I began to think that while I would never vote for Haley, I would much prefer her to Trump as President if it had to come to that. She is not crazy, and she would not tear our democracy to shreds. I think Biden will win his second term, but you never know.
