Live Walk-Through: 100 Years of New Yorker Art

A quick note to say I will go live this afternoon at around 2:30pm EST. Tonight is the opening reception of the exhibition I curated for The New Yorker Centennial, and I want to give you a walk-through so you can see it! Work from Charles Addams, Roz Chast, George Booth, Helen Hokinson, Ed Koren, William Steig, Peter Arno and many more!
Drawn From The New Yorker: A Centennial Celebration is proudly the first event in NYC to celebrate the magazine’s 100 years in publication. The New York Public Library will have an exhibition of documents and some art that will open February 22, 100 years and a day after The New Yorker officially pubished it’s first issue on February 21, 1925. Some covers will be exhibited at the Alliance Francaise, and the Film Forum will have a New Yorker film “festival” later this year.
