Live With Liza and Ann Telnaes!

What a doozy of a week, and historically significant
4

Today, my colleague and friend Ann and I talked about the week that we just completed; somehow we all got through it. What a doozy of a week.

Ann suggested you all watch the video of California Senator Alex Padilla being forceably removed from a Kristi Noem press conference.

It’s outrageous.

Padillo sought to ask the Director of Homeland Security Kristi Noem a question, and was physically and forceably removed and put in handcuffs. This assault happened after Noem said the following:

"We are not going away,” she said. “We are staying here to liberate this city from the socialists and the burdensome leadership that this governor and that this mayor have placed on this country and what they have tried to insert into the city."

This is a big deal, and is exactlly what the Trump administration and Project 2025 want to do: take over liberal states and cities. In her video today, historian and political analyst Heather Cox Richardson says,

“The Trump administration is vowing to get rid of the democratically elected government of California by using military force. That threat is the definition of a coup. A continuation of January 6th.”

Tomorrow there will be over 2000 individual protest gatherings around the country for No Kings Day. More more info and to find a group near you, go here: indivisible.org. I will live broadcast from the one in NYC around 2pm when it starts, eastern time.
