I would have liked to have seen a picture of the pizza. When I was young (I'm 77 now), you could get the best pizzas imaginable at Da Vinci's in Hammond, Indiana (on the way back from accordion band practice---yep, that was a thing). Now I live where good pizza just doesn't exist and I long for it something fierce. Try as I might---every where I go---I still can't recapture that pizza. And Da Vinci's went out of business years ago. (Can you hear the audible sigh?) Thanks for the photographic visit.

Sharon, isn't it funny how we have fond memories of foods like pizza or things our mothers or grandmothers made that we never seem to be able to recapture. But it's fun to create new favorites which I still do at age 85.
