Happy Saturday, everyone! I am trying to take a moment this weekend to not worry about the world, although it is hard. At least I am lucky enough to be in the countryside and can focus on nature, if only intermittently.

I am writing to remind you that I have a zoom coming up on July 5th at 4pm EST for paid subscribers. It’s my monthly event, and have held two so far. What we do is just talk as a community and I draw on my ipad or on paper. I will expand on this depending on what people want: explore materials? Use paint, charcoal? Talk about ideas? Tour my studio? Bring in special guests? So far, we’ve talked about the state of the world, creativity, I asked you questions, you asked me questions. Basically we just learn about and from one another. I value my supporters so much, and want to get to know you. I have always said that cartoons are a communication, and this is just an extension of that. So glad that with technology now, I can do more than just draw to exchange thoughts. Although drawing has been very good to me and I have no plans of stopping!
