Odd Couple: Zelinsky and Trump
It had to have been tough for Volodymyr
President Zelinsky of Ukraine did in fact meet with Trump today, I thought he was deciding not to. Before they sat down to talk, they spoke to the press. It’s understandible that Zelinsky would want to meet with both presidential candidates, which he did. He even said that, that we don’t know what will happen in November, “the American people have to decide,” he said. So it’s in his best interest to meet with both Trump and Harris. Even after Trump insulted him yesterday, saying he doesn’ know what he’s talking about, and even knowing that Trump adores Putin, who invaded Ukraine.
The short press conference was mostly Trump talking, and he veered off into saying to Zelinsky that Putin said Trump “did nothing wrong” as concerns his impeachment. He also is attempting to showcase how he will make a “deal” between Putin and Zelinsky, because he and Putin get along so well. Trump insists he can end the Ukraine war before January 20th, if he wins.
On another note, Trump is selling $100,000.00 watches to his supporters.
Harris went to the border in Arizona today. I don’t know what happened yet, but I think it’s good she’s going.
Flashback: Remember this, last year VP Harris was (I think I recall) the first nationally elected offical to visit a Planned Parenthood? Class act.

Not the main point of your post, Liza, but since you mention Planned Parenthood: I was a single dad; when my daughters were in their early teens, I leaned on Planned Parenthood for help with a couple of issues (fortunately, not unwanted pregnancies.) Since the issues at hand had to do with my daughters' reproductive health, Planned Parenthood seemed like the obvious choice, and in both cases the outcomes were optimal. The reason I bring this up is to highlight the fact that reproductive rights are EVERYONE'S concern. E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E.
