A little light fare from the Trump Trial!
I am not used to eaves dropping, although I am good at listening to speakers while I draw, which is different. I had to learn how to stand near people and look inconspicous. Not easy! This was an interesting exercize—over the course of one day that I was in line for the Trump Criminal Trial, I overheard some amusing things. Except for the last one about the cards, that was an observation. On the last few days of the trial, I only saw one color card, all the press who got into the primary courtroom were either already there or whisked in. Seats were a hot commodity!
It sort of became a little community of press, seeing the same people every day. I made some nice aquaintences and a friend in the process. The policemen who surrounded us constantly made it pleasant; they were an upbeat and friendly presence as we stressed out about our coverage.
Have a great Friday. See you tomorrow.
Amusing and fun. Medicinal for me, with a hard day at work today. Than, Liza!
I feel like I was there! A very nice policeman!
Thank you for your exceptional artistry! You make us smile and realize how fortunate we are to have you present for the rest of us.
