Maybe you’re partied out. Maybe you’re resting for those that will start up again, leading to New Years eve. Have you graced a lot of parties this season?
This is my latest in this week’s New Yorker. I hope this drawing doesn’t come across as cynical, I am sure people missed you at the parties you decided to skip. Those who didn’t miss you are not important, anyways.
I do love parties. And I really love drawing them. Here is another one that was not in the magazine, but I like to pretend it was because I like it so much.
One of my other favorite things to draw is people dancing wildly. Maybe I will do that for you in my next vido broadcast.
This week between Christmas and New Years is such a non-week— so much so that I decided to get my covid vacine. I thought why not, I will be feeling wierd anyway! And I am. Not getting much of anything done.
Hope you’re enjoying being lazy along with me.
Being lazy is a human right, especially after Christmas.
I love your joy at the cartoon that was published and also or maybe more so your love of the second, dancing image that you liked even more. :-) This IS a non-week and one of the upsides is slowing down long enough to read and watch your posts. Thank you Liza for your gifts.
