Happy Wednesday, friends. Later today, I’m going to post about the January 6th hearing that happened yesterday. Very powerful.
In the meantime, I wanted to share a cartoon from recent submissions to The New Yorker. I say “submissions” because I sent this cartoon to the editor maybe three times, I am so pleased with it. But no luck.
You just never know. Even after 42 years at this, rejection still stings!

I too love the cartoon. Go figure.....But yes, rejection is part of the game and you need to be able to handle it if you want to play.
As one of my mentors told me when I was just starting out, “Skin like a rhino, kid! Just let those things bounce off.”
