RFK, Jr was confirmed today as head of HSS. Let’s hope the damage to our health is minimal.

I am heading out to speak tonight at the Society of Illustrators in NYC about the history of New Yorker cartoons with my husband, Michael Maslin. An international radio outlet will be covering the evening, as well as the exhibit of cartoons I curated for the centennial of The New Yorker. Almost everywhere I travel, people know and love New Yorker cartoons. IT’s wonderful.

So I apologize for not doing politics today! But for fun (maybe you need some fun), here are some cartoons from the history of the magazine, some of which we will be showing tonight in our talk. I think you might enjoy them.
