Sometimes I just do silly cartoons. The prevelence of e-bikes is what made me think of this.

Here’s another silly one, the caption came from thinking about my husband’s phone drama, and how he tries to stay in touch but charges his phone at odd times (when most of us charge them when we sleep). So you could just put “Dad” in place of “Mom” here…but the joke would maybe not be as funny. There’s something about moms. Those planes that pull signs seem so funny to me, too, even when they aren’t carrying a cartoon caption. They seem so old fashioned, it’s great. How many of you are going to the beach soon for Labor Day Weekend?

I feel like we’re all just waiting. Waiting for summer to be over with, and waiting for something to happen to Trump. Waiting for some rather large shoe to drop.

Remember when we thought that talking about “grabbing pussy” would be the thing that would bring him down, before he got elected? Sorry to do this, but I post my drawing about that, below. We thought those words would be enough to end his campaign. He apologized, then denied it, and thus began our journey into unreality and untruths and horrible behavior and lying and cheating . A nightmare of endless news cycles and sensational cable coverage of a psychopath. I cannot believe some of my fellow Americans, and far too many of the GOP who are still backing him. Who the heck are we?

This was drawn in 2016, right after he talked to Billy Bush on that bus. It was a difficult drawing to draw..

Apologies for getting upset again, I am embarrassed for our country right now. I do worry about the ramifications if Trump is indicted. The violence.

But it has to be done, we have to live through some temporary kind of hell to keep our democracy.
