I drew this last week as I thought about the Trump administration trying—very crudely, I might add— to start some sort of “take over” of Greenland. They sent Vance and his wife to the island, ostensibly in a friendly gesture of good will. It was anything but, and it was so obvious.
Does the cartoon make sense? It does to me, simply because in my young adulthood, no man brought me flowers—not that I was waiting for flowers, I wasn’t. But when one did, I was suspicious!
(We are now married:)
I hope you are having a good weekend! See you tomorrow, thanks for being here.
Ok, I had to laugh at this one. My (now ex) husband never bought me flowers. I worked in a corporate 500 firm so one year for Valentine’s Day I sent myself flowers and had the card signed “From Your Secret Admirer”.
Flowers come and I bring them home. I’m gushing and say to him “oh thank you!!”
He took credit!!! He was all smiles.
We were divorced by the next Valentine’s Day. I never told him, but our three adult sons know the story. I told them it as a warning, lol!!
Flowers are something you just don’t mess with, Go Greenland!!
flowers DO work! how sad to see the Vances representing our country. wonder if Usha has any regrets. as we say in Hunter Thompson country, buy the ticket, take the ride.
