Silly Saturday Cavepeople Cartoons
And podcasts!
It’s not clear to me why I draw so many cave people cartoons. The above was one The New Yorker did not take, but the one below they did, and it was published not too long ago. I think cave people drawings help us see how absurd life is! Maybe? Or perhaps meaningful….
I really am sort of partial to drawing cave women, and here is another in that vein.
This weekend was a podcast kinda weekend— I did one on Friday and will do a video podcast in Inwood, Manhattan tomorrow.
The above is actually a radio show, but it will be archived so can I call it a podcast? We were live yesterday at 5. It’s called Correct Me If I’m Norm” on Radio Free Rhinecliff. We had a lot of fun in a tiny room at the back of a grocery story in the tiny town of Rhinecliff, NY.
I’m taking a breather from politics this weekend, which, unless there’s breaking news, has become the plan here at Seeing Things. I think it’s good for our mental health, don’t you?
I hope you have a lovely Saturday! Thanks for being here, I really appreciate it.

Liza, your cartoon about the swing reminded me of the time I bought a mirror and had a return it because there were no instructions.
"Did it come with instructions" is wonderful. How can I get a frameable version of it?
