I sense the country is heading into this weekend with a desire to quiet down, and for some of us, enjoy the weather. In this part of the northeast, it’s warmer, and it’s wonderful. Easter weekend for me is about the change of seasons.
That of course doesn’t mean there aren’t things to worry about, and sadness here and abroad. My heart goes out to the families of the workers who died in the Key Bridge collapse near Baltimore. Hard-working immigrants: two bodies have been identified as Alejandro Hernandez Fuentes, 35, and Dorlian Ronial Castillo Cabrera, 26.
But for today, I decided to just draw for you again. Here is a spring cartoon, first…
…and here is a spring animation.
And today’s live-drawing on Youtube is on what we (cartoonists and others) think of in spring. And watch me create and talk about the drawing at the top of this piece. (btw, I missed an important spring topic. Maybe for next week!)
Happy Friday! Enjoy the rest of your day.
I think the dog is hoping the ball is up there in the rain gutter, and the man is wondering why a fish is in the gutter, and the woman is suggesting the entire gutter may as well be cleaned.
I think the woman is mocking the man for thinking the dog is going to help him when he falls off the ladder.
