Trump Is Hiding Behind Lies

Commies, transgenders, strong women, oh, my!

That seems to be the chant from Trump and the GOP lately. They have so little to run on, they are trying to stoke fear. Trump and Vance are saying that if elected, the Democrats will turn our country communist right away, “if not sooner.” Trump recently said of Walz that he is “for everything transgender.” And we all know how both of them feel about women. Today, Trump gave a press conference from Mara Lago that was so full of lies, it almost seems comical.

5. Everybody is going to be forced to buy and electric car

6. Not one American soldier was killed in 18 months in Trump Presidency

7. Democrats allow abortion in the 8th or 9th month and after birth

9. Kamala couldn’t pass her Bar exam

10. 20 million people came over the border during the Biden administration

11. Oct 7th would never have happened if I had been President.

Trump also had the audacity to indirectly compare himself to Martin Luther King, Jr., comparing the crowd size of his January 6th speech to King’s on the Washington Mall in 1963 when he delivered his “I Have A Dream” speech. “If you look at Martin Luther King, when he did his speech, his great speech. And you look at ours, same real estate, same everything, same number of people. If not, we had more.” According to the NY Times, Dr. King’s speech drew an estimated 250,000 people. The House Select Committee responsible for investigating the events of Jan. 6 estimated that Mr. Trump’s speech drew 53,000 people.

A debate on ABC is set for September 10, the Harris and Trump campaigns said this afternoon. Trump caved. I feel as though the GOP are not sure what to do.

A book about Project 2025, the “blueprint” for the next Republican administration, written by Heritage President Kevin Roberts, was due to be released in September. It is now postponed until after the election. It has an introduction by JD Vance, which in it he “rails against birth control, in vitro fertilization, abortion, and dog parks. He says that having children should not be considered an ‘optional individual choice,’ but a ‘social expectation,’” and that reproductive choice is a “snake strangling the American family” (From Heather Cox Richardson and Madeline Peltz of Media Matters).
