Trump Oval Ambush #2

And I saw this person today

Trump orchestrated another ambush in the Oval Office today and it was disgusting. South African President Cyril Ramaphosa was invited to the Oval Office as a guest of our nation, and Trump treated him with incredible disrespect. It was a horrible display of racism, a good day for white supremicists in South Africa, whom Trump and Musk (a South African) seem to support. During what should have been simple greeting before leaving for more serious talks, Trump tried to use the media gathered in the Oval to promote the idea that there is genocide of whites in South Africa. Facts show that there are not mass killings of white South African farmers, although Ramaphosa admitted there is a broad crime problem in the country towards both Black and white residents, and he generously stated that the US is helping with that. President Ramaphosa was calm and measured in a situation that would have made me scream. At the start, Trump showed a video of extremists in South African talking about killing whites, and showed horrible video footage to try to prove his point. It didn’t work, yet was really intended for his base. Who knows if they’re paying attention!

This may be just another distraction coming from Trump, but this time it is more, really— worse because of the blatant offensive attitudes on display and the manipulation of the media while hosting a GUEST.

How these world leaders deal with this kind of situation, I have no idea. They are very restrained. Part of me wants them to react more, but I realize they need help from the US, so need to play nice. While Trump behaves like a spoiled child, or worse.
