The news today was as difficult as it has been since Trump’s inauguration. It seems people are angry, frustrated, out of work, afraid to spend money, confused, scared. The stock market, while a bit more stable today, waits in hopes Trump will hold tariff talks, and ease off this madness.
I don’t want to add words to this mess of today. It’s more of the same. So I just leave you with the drawing above.
One last thought: a friend wrote today thanking me for being in there, resisting. Doing things. I told him he was resisting in his work— I believe he is helping people stay calm and centered in what he does as a tai chi coach. We all do what we can. Every little bit helps.
See you tomorrow, thanks so much for being here.
bears are out, crocus blooming, spring at 8000 feet! love the cartoon- just waiting for Trump's pot to boil over.
Love, love, love this cartoon! Perfect!
Jeff Tiedrich included a note in his post today that, for me, explains intentionally crashing the market -- and tells who "profits." In short, Trump is doing this (and got his $$ OUT even from his own platform just before he started) so that, when he/they decide the market is low enough to buy super cheap then can then watch it climb back up so they can make a killing which would be "wonderful"...and maybe to do it all over again (this wasn't in the note)?
Anyway, sad to say, this makes evil sense to me. Very oddly, this has given me some calm.
