“Trump has taken his seat. His hair is uncharacteristically messy. Like the wind hit it on the way into court.” -Maggie Haberman, NY Times this morning.
I couldn’t resist drawing Ms. Haberman’s reportage on Trump’s appearance on this fourth day of his Manhattan Criminal Trial. I know it’s an easy laugh, apologies. I did listen to his remarks to the press as he entered the courtroom, and he seemed angrier than normal.
Ms. Haberman also reported on something he said in those remarks:
“Trump spoke in the hallway before re-entering the hold room. Apparently without a sense of irony, he told reporters, ‘They’ve taken away my constitutional rights to speak and that includes speaking to you.’”
More later!
Hair like that is begging to be drawn! Love it.
Only for you will I suspend my distain for Ms. Haberman and enjoy this sketch - as I must (because it’s terrific) - and enjoy/cringe the idiot-speak of the disheveled subject.
