Thing aren’t always what they seem.
This is de rigueur on Halloween.
But we see it in daily life, too. And then people go and lie. There has been a trend of lying in recent years, more so than I ever recall.
Our world is becoming like Halloween. And its scary.
But always the optimist, I hold out hope that positive forces will prevail and that we can celebrate dishonesty and lying and fakeness only on Halloween.
Here’s another cartoon done for the holiday, one of my personal favorites. It’s a positive Halloween drawing! I wonder what a resting bitch face pumpkin would look like?
Over the last several years, I have live drawn Halloween in various places. Here is one from 2018 that I really enjoyed. I sat in a cafe on Fifth Avenue and watched kids in costume, some walking by with their parents and caregivers.
