What a positive election day for Democrats yesterday! A woman’s right to choose is now codified in Ohio’s constitution, Kentucky stuck with its Democratic Govenor, and Virginia went blue. And Philadelphia now has a Black woman as Mayor! Is this the beginning of repudiation of MAGA? Trying not to get my hopes up too much We shall see. Now if we can just get everyone on board to appreciating all the things President Biden is doing.
In tonight’s debate, it will be fascinating to watch how the five candidates on the stage will shift their stand on abotion and on Trump, who will not be there. Abortion is the single most powerful force in politics now, and voters are understanding the GOP agressive opposition to a woman’s right to decide her own health care. Can that help in the presidential election?
