This week is going to be a crazy one in politics. We have Super Tuesday, then the State of The Union Address on Thursday. I can feel the electricity. Nikki Haley won her first primary in D.C. last week, becoming the first Republican woman to win a primary for President. But Trump will probably take the GOP nomination on Tuesday with enough delegates. I wonder what Nikki will do- I want her to stay in as a thorn in Trump’s side. SCOTUS just ruled that Trump can be on the ballot in every state; but they were also clear to say that that does not clear him of any wrong-doing.
Israeli war cabinet minister Benny Gantz is in Washington today, meeting with Blinken and Harris and other officials. It is an “unofficial meeting,” according to an angry Prime Minister Netanyau, who only learned about Gantz’s trip on Friday. Gantz is Bibi’s centrist rival. Apparently many Israeli citizens are unhappy with Bibi and it is speculated that perhaps Gantz could be elected Prime Minister if an election were held. But any talk about peace or cease fire is good news. Harris pushed for a pause in fighting (the other day in a speech in Alabama, she spoke of a cease-fire), and calling for more humanitarian aid for Gaza and return of hostages. I hope this works.
Here is a drawing for you for today, I did it a few weeks ago. Is it related to my writing? You tell me….
Happy Monday, see you tomorrow! Thanks for being here.
“He who is without content cast the first stone…” which is where my brain finished your hed, “who’s without content?” Yeah I don’t know why either.
Though not a fan I want Haley to stick with it. If only to annoy the Orange jackass.
