Another snow cartoon, sorry about that— I promise it won’t be every day! The New Yorker bought this today to run as their Daily Cartoon online, so I wanted to share it with you.

For those of you who live in wintry climates and have children, you are aware of the utter exhaustion of getting your kids ready to go out into the snow. By the time they are outfitted in all the puffy material, you are dripping in sweat. Then, a lot of times, you are expected to go out into the snow WITH the children. You could get your spouse or neighbor to do that. That was my favorite choice, if I had one, to delegate to another adult any outside snow activity. I am not a snow sport fan, I’d rather stay inside! I’ll make the hot chocolate.

But such are the things we do for kids.
