The brand I recommended was used in a randomized trial (Buteyko breathing method, which was shown to be effective with asthmatics). I’ll see if I can locate the paper. I’ve been using this method for years and can vouch for it.
If you can handle it, try holding and melting a vitamin c 500 mg
under the tongue or tucked into the cheek. Also vitamin E same. The tissues take it up quickly. This is not an easy method but it does work for me. The other one that always has worked for years is herbal:
*Day 1, six tabs of Wellness Formula taken at the very first sign of a coming cold /flu feeling - try within the first hour; then followed by 6 more every 4 hours = 24
*Day 2, some combination of 4 every 4 hrs or 6 every 6 = 16
*Day 3, taper. I carry a day's worth with me in a pill holder.
