I don’t know why, but I acqaint this drawing with the election in November. The difference being I am not living my best life before the possible end of our democracy.
I did another cartoon, below, based on a real dream I had.
This morning I read Heather Cox Richardson’s newsletter as I do every morning. I highly recommend it, probably many of you already read it. While reading, it occured to me how much her words inspire me to be active leading up to the election, and influence what I write sometimes. Maybe mine do the same for you. If we can create a snowball effect, maybe we can make a difference.
And there will be no Big Bang in November.
I feel as though most people aren’t paying attention. Maybe they will as we get closer to the election. Some people vote just out of pure self-interest, and have no interest in doing what’s right in the big picture. Biden is doing what he can for us (and its a lot). Trump is doing what he can for Trump.
Thanks for being here. Tomorrow will be a busy day, but I will see you as the sun goes down (for me, anyway!).
I agree with every word you wrote. Sometimes, I feel like giving in and simply crying until I have no more tears.
I believe Biden will win. I also believe the GOO fascist regime will do everything they can to nullify the results of the election.
Letters from an American plus your notes and drawings give me such inspiration and motivation to stay hopeful and engaged! We will all get through this together. 😊
