I was going to do a serious post today, but don’t have it in me. One thing I want to share with you, however— an article of what Trump and his allies plan to do if elected in 2024. This must never happen.
And we all wait for the bombing and death to end in the Middle East, hoping the hateful rhetoric and attacks stop, as they escalates online and around the world.
I decided to post this drawing above that appeared in The New Yorker in 2002, right after the attacks on 9/11. It is unfortunately how we still feel, around the world. Every time I read the news about the Middle East or about Trump, I get a gnawing pain in my gut, and an inability to draw anything about those things. I’m hoping that will change.
I leave you will a playful cartoon. Have a good rest of your Wednesday.
Oh, no....not Fluffy! Well, I agree with all you wrote. Indeed, I had to smile when I read an article that said "The Rock," the movie star was thinking of running or they want him to run in place of the orange man. Then someone said, "We don't want any movie stars to be president," until someone else said two words: Ronald Reagan. I can relate to the kid who asked about being worried. I came out of the womb a worrywart and have been one all my life. Thanks for drawing through the difficulty.
Ah Lisa. Yes.
We all feel your pain.
When you’re ready to draw again, how about one potentially bright spot in the news today: Xi and Biden meeting together to turn down the heat. Man. I literally pray for this!
