The jurors that really matter are called voters. And what they write in social media doesn’t disqualify them from voting. In fact, it increases turnout.
I think it is time to breathe. I feel empathy for the potential jurors called and the seated jurors. What a time ‘to have your number come up!’ I hope he gets a fair trial and that the outcome is just and sticks. It is hard for me to imagine him not being convicted given Michael Cohen testifying for the prosecution and having g literally handled the deals and false accounts and repayments scheme. But, ya nevah know. I plan to keep breathing and going on with life and getting people to vote.
Yikes. I didn't hear about this. I hate to do it, but I guess I'll have to watch the news and see what happened. Not to make fun, but when I heard fire, I thought, as you have drawn many times, the orange man's pants went on fire. This is really awful. I hope and pray for the day that the name Donald j tRump is out of our daily news and conversations. To me he is the Judas that would sell anyone out for his 30 pieces of silver. I firmly believe that he is a traitor to our nation. His MAGA SUPPORTERS are Putin supporters and are also traitors. Many in the GOP in the past were trying in their own way to keep this country safe and democratic. This is a complete turnaround all in the name of GREED!
Several times in every century a trial catches the nations full attention, Trump's trail is one of these cases. We the people will be exposed to the unvarnished truth and have to look deep into our inner core values. May the jury judge fairly and apply the values the American people claim to hold most dear.
I know it will sound paranoid, but if the orange man does manage to get elected, will his house-cleaning include all of us who have spoken out against him on social media? I can see his minions combing Facebook and mining the names of those who have maligned him (or in reality called him out for what he is). Every reiteration of his threats of what he will do if he is re-elected makes the idea seem a bit more possible. Sorry for the paranoia-it's hard for an octogenarian like myself to see what is happening to the America we thought we were passing on to our grandchildren. We MUST get out and vote in November!
