Those two women in your second cartoon are great! The speaking woman echoes the thoughts I’ve had for years: that the media’s non-judgmental and unequal coverage of Trump got him elected in 2016, and is threatening a repeat performance in 2024. (Typo alert: Shouldn’t her word “every” be “ever”?)

Nothing about Trump. Wouldn’t that be lovely.

Are we all going to just sit by and complain if the Supreme Court blocks these prosecutions?

I have not seen anyone comment on the director of the fbi being part of the stormy danial’s discussions BEFORE HE WAS PRESIDENT. WTF!

I listened to an interview of Doris Kearns Goodwin about Trump and history. She said she wishes that she could be alive a hundred years from now to read what historians will write about the 3 branches of government, Trump, and all that was brought about as a result of his Presidency. The first President to not peacefully transfer power to the individual who won the election. Had he just accepted that he lost, just think of all of the cascading events that might never have happened. So, as much as we want to be done with him, he is part of the fabric of our country - albeit, that we wish we could rip out and throw in the wastebasket.

Why does it MATTER whether "catch and kill" was SOP or not? The problem here is not the act, it is the reason behind the act. All Pecker's testimony is aimed at is whether or not trump intended these particular acts to be for political purposes to protect his chances of election.

What we are all witnesses to is a worldwide stress test of the democracy bank, centered in the US, and we are account holders.

Frumpy calls himself “campaigning” when he gives his ‘hate speeches before and after court each day. He needs to concentrate on staying awake in the courtroom because his ‘speeches’ aren’t getting it.

He hasn’t done any campaigning since he registered to run for office. If he opens his mouth he’s telling a lie. If he speaks anything, it’s a lie. If he tells you the sun is shining, you need to go outside and check because he’s probably lying.

Even his ‘campaign’ speeches he’s held, all he’s doing is bashing judges, attorneys, their office help and families. He has yet to discuss any issues. I doubt seriously if he even knows any issues.

The only issue he had in his mind was the southern border. There was a bill introduced which would have solved that issue, but he (Trump) stopped it. He donated his MAGA Trumpublicans in the Hiuse and instructed them to not pass it. He wanted to use the southern border as a dsmiaign critch to bash President Biden.

Guess what. That backfired. The bashing us on him for his action he took in stopping the legislation from passing. And, it showed us just exactly why we need to vote blue 💙💙💙💙in the upcoming ejections to rid us of the parasites we have in the House of Representatives and Senate.

Friend. One-way friendship, always. And Weinstein, the judge just allowed women who were not named in the case to testify. That was the whole evidence rule that got the conviction reversed. Liz Plank (airplane mode here on the stacks) wrote up a whole thing this morning worth reading.

Thank you. I since read what the issue was. Ronan Farrow wrote about the connection between the Weinsten trail and this Trump trial, so I learned from that.

I do hope there will come a day when we can ask the TV to dissect and expunge all stories about the orange man. And just leave stories that are not fake news, that are true, and that enlighten us to something new and wonderful about the world.
