Not much happened that is of real excitement today at the Trump Criminal Trial in Manhattan. Basically, the prosecution is setting up its case against Trump, bit by bit.
So instead of writing about that, I am giving you a drawing. I love the word “germinate” and wanted to use it in a cartoon. The second definition from the online Oxford Dictionary is, “come into existence and develop.”
The way I see it, this woman speaking to her male friend could perhaps be asking about his patio gardening. But she could also be asking about him.
Happy Friday! I plan to work in my garden a little tomorrow. My seeds are germinating; I put too many in so I need to figure that out.
Also, I may be germinating myself.
I just realized this drawing is about the trial. The prosecution is germinating its case!
Thanks for being here.
Excellent drawing, Liza. This could very well depict the trial. The prosecution is methodically ‘germinating’ their case, and the defense attorney, standing there drinking their coffee have nothing to do but drink coffee.
Trump is so screwed!!!
What a fun cartoon! Even the windows in the surrounding buildings look like they are germinating! I will never again be able to see that word and not think of your wonderful cartoon!
