Busy day, so I will post a drawing. I’ve never known a goat, but I kinda think they’re great, and probably like pizza. I’m about to board to fly to LA. Glad the writers strike is over! See you tomorrow! Seeing Things is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.
Don't goats love to eat ANYthing? No goats are my personal friends. But back in the days when our daughter was at Glacier National Park, I went to visit a couple of times and she set up a few short hikes for me (one by Logan Pass was steep, but incredibly rewarding at the top). Anyway, goats live high up in the snowy parts. It was summer, and I sweat a lot, so I asked if the water in the streams flowing down was OK to drink, and the person I asked made a face and said it might have goat pee in it. Maybe so, but I thought it tasted fine.
Charlie Rice had two goats. Ms. Briggs and Mr. Stratton. I'll let you do the math on those names.
Ms. Briggs was famous for jumping up on the engine hoods of cars and dancing around on them because she liked the sound her hooves made on the steel. Charlie loved her because she helped keep visitors away from the house when he was writing.
Give my love to Dreamworks!
And thanks for the pizza eating goats!
Hmm, what toppings suit a goat’s fancy?
Vegetarian
Congrats on the strike resolution!
Box and all!
Good luck in LA. I think goats are famous for eating everything. Probably including pizza.
Spent my teenage summers in Greece. Believe me goats will eat anything! Pizza would be welcome!
The writers’ strike is over, but the actors are still out.
As Anne Lamont would say "Traveling Mercies," and good luck.
Duh! Goats only eat the pizza to get to the box!
Can't wait to hear about Dreamworks!
