No grilling, but finally cutting the wrapper off my summer 2023 Paris Review... *breathes new ink in deeply*

Grilling a small pork roast on my trusty Weber grill. We had salmon on Thursday, burgers last night and pork roast tonight. I have turned down a new gas grill every year. Reading “The Pharmacist of Auschwitz” by Patricia Posner and Good Owners Great Dogs by Brian Kilcommons and Sarah Wilson in advance of getting our first puppy Sept 1st. The later book because I’m a retired pharmacist and WW II

student. Happy Weekend all!

Congratulations on the new puppy! I highly recommend THE OTHER END OF THE LEASH, by Patricia McConnell. She’s awesome on all things dog and writes engagingly.

I’m not grilling, but sure wish I could. But, I’m spending my weekend reading Substack writer’s renditions of Frumpy, the strawberry 🍓 blonde 👱 clown 🤡!
