Grand Central Terminal was bustling today. Why am I surprised? It’s a Friday afternoon!
I had just a few minutes before my train, so I drew this. I didn’t have time to add color before I had to dash to the gate, so I added color just now while on the train. They are colors I wanted, not what I actually saw. And the people that were drawn as composites of those I actually saw. With crowds, it’s hard to capture people as is because they move a lot.
The only person drawn as I saw him is the man with the hat on the right. He stood there for a long time, at least for the duration of my sketch.
I hope you enjoy this. I love Grand Central Terminal, so inconic and so many wonderful looking characters. I can make up stories for all of them.
Happy Friday! No politics today, I’ve been in a meeting all afternoon so I have no idea what’s been going on, anyway.
Thanks for being here!
Seems like the lull before the storm of the convention next week. Gives us all a chance to relax and rest away from the Trumpmares.
The soothing sanity of a meeting. 😹
