Grand Central Terminal is so iconic. Just the top of the clock appeared at first and I knew exactly where it was. So many stories thru the years about GCT. Thank god it did not meet the fate of Penn Station. Wonderful contribution.
I'm envious! I've been to NYC just once (40 years ago) and then for only 3 days; didn't get to see a lot of famous places, including Grand Central. I did get to walk around quite a lot - Times Square, Greenwich Village, others - and our unassuming little hotel was right on the southern edge of Central Park.
One thing I love about watching other people draw is the way they bounce around in the drawing, not necessarily "finishing" one part before going on to another. I get to see a little of how their mind works. This used to drive my grandmother crazy, though; she'd watch my dad (her son-in-law) work on a sketch or a watercolor, and she couldn't stand it that he would hop around in the drawing, filling in what made sense to him, maybe getting a sense of the composition overall, whatever.
Love Grand Central. I haven't been back to the City since Covid. But I want to. Do people wear masks on the train? at the station? Just wondering. Love the drawing.
Seems like the lull before the storm of the convention next week. Gives us all a chance to relax and rest away from the Trumpmares.
The soothing sanity of a meeting. 😹
I, too, love Grand Central. Love your drawing! Love the clock! Love the colorful people! Love you!
It's such an iconic and grand space. I love the way the humans pop with color in your sketch.
xo
Thanks! That was fun—I needed that 🤗
Love these always. Grand Central is MAGIC isn’t it?!!

Thanks, as always, for sharing your work.
So happy to see Grand Central Station through your artistry. I miss it and you've brought it to life for all of us ❤️
