One of my earliest memories, I'm almost 75 years old, is riding on a "choo choo train" with my Aunt and Uncle, going for a visit. I was 3. It's my favorite way to travel to NYC with my daughter and granddaughters. Bus trips are great too, but you can relax on a train, and the food car is nice too!
The bad news is that SCOTUS upheld the right of Tennessee to ban gender health treatment for trans kids. The Roberts court is one of the worst. See Law Dork for a criticism of the lack of decent objection to this abomination.
I love your charming people. I was born and raised in Manhattan, so visiting Grand Central was just something one did. My dad, a war correspondent in the ETO for Acme Newspictures, finally returned via train; we met him as he detrained sometime in 1946, when he'd stuck around to cover some of the Nuremberg Trials. As a four-year-old, I was very excited, and Dad did not disappoint: He had with him a German-made clockwork silver Mercedes, a gift for me. I wound it up and ran it right there on the floor of the grandest terminal in the country, a little kid with a model (not a toy) Mercedes driving it in Grand Central Station while my parents canoodled. I lost my dad at age ten; I really, really wonder what his take would be on our current monstrous, Fascist "government."
a long time ago I used to take the train from Washington to Augusta, Georgia- fond memories of the perfect service and watching the coastal views go by. a very long time ago there was a train out to Tybee Island called the Marsh Hen-a salute to Lanier's poem about marshes. wish I could have ridden on that! I liked the well organized guy you drew. let's all stay hydrated - and in our hearts as well.
Nice drawing. The reason the orange man is (still) complaining about Biden and the election is, IMHO, when other elections don't go his way, he will rewind that tape about Biden and elections being stolen. He wants to get people to internalize the fact that elections are only fair and true when repugs win. Hey, but it stopped raining, and we didn't get that over-the-top storm they were predicting, which makes me happy.
I think it’s pure projection when he claims 2020 was a hoax. The more he yells it, the more it makes me think he’s really talking about 2025. He and the other republicans and Faux News commentators always accuse others of what they’re actually guilty of. Pathetic liars and losers who can’t accept it when reality doesn’t reflect their corrupt perspective. Disgusting!
(Grand Central is one of favorite places in the world too! Lovely drawings!)
Is Old Confederate, Moscow Mitch hollering about State’s Rights? (McConnell foaming about State’s Sovereignity?) It’s laughable, but your cartoons really make me go back in time. Fingers crossed that not all Republicans are not completely dumb.

I know, so horrible.
Hacking off kids' healthy body parts is an abomination!
Should a real wolf ever appear, no one will believe him. Then...

Thanks, Allia!
