While in Brandon, Vermont this weekend, I ran across this lovely building. It is in a bit of disrepair, but had a lot of charm. You can see that it was a barbershop by the remnants of the pole on the left, without its colors — they had disintegrated. I drew it on my iPad and made a sped-up video screen grab.
As you see in the video, I consider color at one point, then decided against it. I just like the lines of the buildling. I found the color a little off-putting, and didn’t want to try to recreate it.
Here are some photos of the building from the outside, and through the window. It’s very mysterious inside, like someone just abandoned it with everything still in place. A tad creepy. But I loved it. I like to pay attention to things that may not get the attention because they are odd or old or seemingly not important.

Awesome. But how did you get inside for those photos? Maybe the inhabitants were raptured. It looks like something out of the "Twilight Zone." Brilliant as always
