Liza, I started drawing on my phone while waiting in line to vote yesterday. It used to be hard to do it without people noticing when I used paper & pen. This way I looked like I was busy with emails. I am learning from you. I liked what I did but the drawings were very fast & sketchy. The long voting line was moving efficiently.

I also thought Anderson Cooper did a brilliant job at the townhall, asking tough and interesting questions.

Yep, Trump could not have withstood these kinds of questions.

Congrats on your New Yorker cartoon today. It warms my heart to see your work recognized. No truer line has ever been spoken in a film than "You can't handle the truth." The truth must scare the pants off the naked Trump followers.

Great toon Liza! Definitely no room to dwell on the state of the nation when you're seconds from your own demise! 😅🤣😂

This is being the longest distressing, poor sleep, too much ice cream at midnight, wandering w my dog sniffing every leafy place and refusing to do her ‘duty’ so we can go home and sleep sometime before any more ‘news’ or worse, live Kamala campaign ‘interviews’ translated by people who I thought were ‘good’ reporters.. turned into nitpicking muckrakers instead of upbeat cheerleaders for her brilliant, even-tempered, answers to impossible questions! She is brilliant. And even-tempered.. in fact very often charming and so well spoken. What are these TV persons doing … not highlighting her Many Great Qualities.. not least of which is her ease w answering everyone (on an early show this morning w live voters asking their prepared questions … T doesn’t do any of these campaign live TV interviews!!)

And people are voting for him ???

Yeah, apparently tfg voters are excited to see chaos and a country falling apart. That’s their jam.

These days especially, that is such high praise! I’m going to “borrow” it whenever someone says (or draws or writes) something logical and smart - “How sane you are.”
