She is obviously comfortable in her own private world, despite the hard, cold concrete, but she still maintains a connection to the rest of the world with what looks like a smart phone and possibly earphones (that round black blob in her hair?) Of course, all your train references are special to me, a fellow lifelong railroad fan.
