Love it. Too bad I can't illustrate as I would draw you a picture of our rescue "dawg," Miss Kitty as she walks out along the jetty in Westport. She loves the beach. I vote tomorrow. Yay.
Your drawing of the traveler is just great. And done so quickly! And with your finger on your phone. Quite amazing. SoCal sunset beach scene? Absolutely exquisite! Very dense family business in need of completion here, legal, financial, physical property stuff, squatters… But once through it all, I tell my friends my goal is to be a beach bum. Your photo captures the kind of scene that makes my heart sing. Beautiful. Pace yourself with all this travel.
I voted the 17th, first day of early voting here in NC. The line inched along steadily, making time for conversation. I found myself surrounded by Kamala voters!! It was a party for an old guy like myself! A party, party. I left the Rec Center feeling really happy. Thank you, Liza for your drawings and your writing. I look forward to every post.
I have a cool Kamala blue tee with a very simple but serious portrait of a cat (Amazon)...I'm in Long Beach, CA. I thought for sure I'd be getting high fives or dirty looks..but nuthin'! Lol
You were smart not to wear the hat in Indiana. That state has changed so much since I lived there. I enjoyed reading your description of your years at Earlham College — there were some good experiences to be had there when Birch Bayh was Senator (He co-sponsored Title IX for women’s athletes). I was at a Costco in Oregon recently. I wore my “I’m Speaking” hat and I passed a young man who wore a t-shirt that just said “Freedom.”. Who knows what either signified to whom, but I enjoyed that we were both so subtle no one need react.
Love the photo! So glad the dogs talk to you, too! That means you're special, Liza, but then we all know that!
Two cross country flights in a single day, way to rack up the frequent flyer miles.
Love the picture!! And, that's one of the reasons why we all love Kamala!!
☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️some east coast sunshine to offer! Harris Walz!!

Dawg or Kat, give it your best shot until you like it. Then frame it. You'll be surprised how much you enjoy it.

I voted in person Friday. As it could possibly be my last need to vote, I’m still savoring the moment.

I get your hat decision... these are dangerous times, especially for strong, smart, brave women.
Dogs on the beach always bring a smile! Thanks! And they all DO love Kamala Harris. Dogs always can sniff out the reality of who a human is deep down.
