Great cartoon and photos. The last three cartoons you have posted have captured the feelings of a waning summer beautifully. It's made me think of how the feelings that come with the seasons changing evolve as the seasons of life evolve.
I do summer pretty much letting everybody "do their thing" and it usually works out well with a good balance of spending time with loved ones and getting in some relaxation time. Low pressure...
I happened on your Instagram reel earlier today, it looked like you were on the move, beautiful blues skies and as someone who grew up in Toms River I thought ,"I'll bet that is the Seaside Bridge Liza is driving over".
I recall you doing some live drawing from the Island last year. It's a beautiful spot and from what I remember it holds special memories from times spent with family and loved ones over the years. Enjoy!

You are so right! Good eyes- that exactly where I was. Stuck in traffic so snapped that pic. This is a special place, Sedge Island, now a research center for the state, but our family can use it twice a year since my cousin used to one it. My great Aunt bought it in the 30s!
