I’ve been live drawing events since around 2014. It started with the State of The Union address that year, then the Oscars and I just kept going—on location as well as from my monitor/tv. I learned that I was able to draw things I saw quickly and with the app that I use, put them out on social media quickly. I know many of you know this about me. Sometimes I am hired to do it, other times I feel compelled to do it because either I enjoy or appreciate what I am seeing, or some event is so important I want to record it. This is the case with the January 6th Hearings. It’s important. It’s riviting. It’s frightening.
your drawings of the congress people from the 1st hearing are right on - their words and soon the action that must be taken are so important and will resonate in history. scott
