Thank you for sharing your thoughts and wonderful drawings. It gives me much more of a feeling of being there than I get from reading about the trial in the NYT or WaPo.

Liza, you have done it again!!! Taken us right into the courtroom with your fantastic drawings and commentary to go with them.

This is great stuff! Please keep up the good work. I hope you are sitting in the courtroom when the jury returns with their GUILTY verdict (hopefully). I’d love to see the expression on Frumps attorneys face when it’s read. Seeing as their wasn’t and defense presented at all in his defense. Foolish move. If I wasn’t guilty of this, I’d gotten in that stand and sang it loudly and forever!

Thank you! I was not able to be there today, but it is a happy day that the verdict was for Carroll and SO FAST!

Thank you for the interesting inside peek at this important trial. Now we wait and hope the jury does the right thing - holds this serial rapist to account.

May justice be done. Seems like a weak defense by a blustering, ill-prepared lawyer, from your reports. Live drawing captures an event the way nothing else can. Thank you.

I think it was helpful that you were attending your first trial - you conveyed your omnivorous curiosity without any layers of legal jargon or any assumptions about what your readers might know. You were our eyes in the room and I, and many others, truly appreciated your perspective. Hopefully this won’t be your last trial.

I’ll agree with all of this, and add that I appreciate the honesty of you saying when you didn’t understand something (cos let’s face it, how many of us would?!) 😊

I keep refreshing my AP news app, waiting for a verdict. I’m sure I’m not the only one.

I have enjoyed your visual perspective of the trial- your sketches add nuance to the verbal testimony.

I think Trump did a commendable job of burying himself during his deposition. Thank you, Liza for bringing this trial to life for all of us out here who read dry reports from other news outlets. I can't believe any rational juror would find Trump anything other than guilty. This trial may finally prove that Trump can't always get away with his lies and many women will be vindicated who have endured his physical advances and, yes, rape over the years. This case is so very important.

He really did. Amazing. Thank you for your kind words, I want to bring it to my audience with my perspecitve as someone who is there. You saw the jury came back, 5 mill for Carroll! They believed her!!!

Anyone who watches sports regularly has a favorite color commentator, someone whose remit is to provide a broader perspective than can be gained from just the play-by-play. That work goes beyond merely showing a replay and saying “look at that, will ya.” Your coverage breaks the usual courtroom artist convention by adding to the showing the color of “here’s what I’m seeing and why it’s interesting.” Well done, you.

Thank you for saying that. I am not a courtroom reporter, it's true. I can't draw like them, but I'm not trying to. I do it my way, my line and hopefull it brings insight to you all. I appreciate you, thank you.
