Having a snuggle kitty is just the best. I have a feral cat I have been trying to tame for the last three years. He comes in for food and now I can get within two feet of him. I'm encouraged.
I live with two feral kitties from the same litter- from a hay barn near me. They have grown into huge friendly sisters. They keep the rodents down, sleep when I work and work when I sleep . I love them so much. I’m thinking of your cartoon- ‘Not tonight, the cat is on my lap.’
My Mo says he's sorry for your loss and that he hopes it was not your Maine Coon who passed. He also says he'll sit on your lap if you promise an endless supply of kibble... and he'll catch the flies!
Thanks, D.L.! I wish we had a Maine Coon cat, but never had the pleasure of knowing one. Our old kitty named Mo died (I recall we had a cat with the same unusual name!). A real sweetheart, he was not a cuddler either, also formerly feral, so I am hoping for a very effectionate kitty! Thanks for the offer!
