Love NYC and the Broadway shows. I have taken my daughter and two granddaughters to Frozen, School of Rock, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and now that both have read The Great Gatsby, and I taught it, when substituting for high school English, after I retired from teaching. I would love to see that, but one is in college, and the other granddaughter is still in high school. Oh, the memories. And then Madison Square Garden and my first ever hockey game a couple of years ago with a granddaughter who loves/loved the Rangers. However, I don't like the subways because, as my daughter would tell you, I don't know when to get on or off! But it is a great way to get to other parts of the city. We visited all the different places: the Statue of Liberty, the World Trade Center and Oculus, the 9/11 Memorial, the Empire State Building, and so much more. We went toured Federal Hall because one granddaughter loves Presidential history and wanted to see where George Washington gave his inaugural speech. We saw the NYS Stock Exchange, from the outside, which is in the news, of course.. Grants tomb, museums, and the Intrepid. Every place is a reminder of how diverse and excellent our country is—the history, which the Trump administration is trying to erase, is unconscionable. We have seen so much over the years, and your photos bring back those memories. Thank you.
I so want to see New York City before I go 🤗 thanks Liza 😃
With your camera we get to see the world through your eyes and know there is more to life than politics.
Yes it’s true. Thank you Michael.
Liza, I love when you share these photos with us. I can still remember what the subway smells like. LOL
Be safe and be well.
Thanks! It smells better lately - certainly since the 80’s!
Good to hear. LOL
I appreciate you and your creativity. You make me smile!!!
