love the cloud mocking the watertowers. Can't ever see the watertowers too many times. Wow! Love the images in the images--windows, through them into beyond.
When I was quite a bit younger, I worked with an influential "take no prisoners" lawyer, the largest plaintiffs' law firm west of the Mississippi, who often said, "When you got 'em by the balls, their hearts and minds will follow." We litigated massive cases against the insurance industry, the mighty environmental polluters, medical malpractitioners, civil bad guys taking advantage of their graft and grift. But, he and the law firm followed the rules...punctiliously and ethically in all ways. "You gotta wake up n the morning," he cautioned, "and when you do, you have to be able to look in the mirror." I always felt neat and tidy and proud of what we and I were doing. Pumpkinhead and his sycophant charlatans ignore the rules and pride themselves on their lawlessness. America is going down a sewer. My heart is broken. I love America. I have been watching The Sopranos. I also grew up across the Delaware River from Trenton in Levittown, PA. We watched how The Mob did business...and how much Trumpiana behave like the Mob. Today, with Mr. Zelensky, a man of honor and dignity, a mensch of a man, was one of the worst days in the history of our nation. Pumpkinhead's (and Vance's) behavior was unthinkable; despicable. America should apologize to the World for the calumny and mendaciousness. I want to take a moral shower and scrub with bleach to get the stain away. This is the Shabbat. Thnx for the pics. The shot of the person laying on the seats with the apartments in the background struck me. So much of the city happens through train windows, if you will.
--I was reminded of the era , decades ago, when (so-called) windowless tenement window frames in uptown manhattan were covered with fake curtains and windows--but never fixed.
The argument was this was the quickest way to "transform bleakness into beauty...". City pols . wanted to send a "positive image" to travelers heading from the airports to midtown. Maybe we should ask homeless sisters and brothers to wear neater clothes and arrange their shopping carts.
Vance was up in VT skiing today. Yes true. Hundreds had assembled and lined theroads with signs. I kinda think he deserves a shower of rotten tomatoes.
I stayed home organizing with neighbors to block cell towers, we are told are needed. I argued if they were so safe let them be attached to churches and day care centers and all schools. That gathered attention.
Together lets organize, act and push Trump-hate away. We are the majority and his empire will slowly tangle and snarl and shrink, as it should. Let's also find ways to build bridges with questioning maga fans. Chris Hedges has troubling and thorough talks on You tube
Liza, I didn't realize there were water towers on some of the buildings in NYC. Forgive my ignorance, but I was just wondering, do they collect rainwater? I love your drawings, they are great!
I don't know what to say concerning this images. It seems a bit sad. Is that the general atmosphere today in NY?
Maybe it's me. NYC is not sad, I don't think! I'm not either, but maybe I'm a little sad because of the current state of our WH>
Like the photos.

like skipping stones-how many can you stack?
Mocking or aspirational emulation?
ahhhh. very nice.
those little water towers- like to think of them at night-wandering the city on their spindly legs.

Thanks, bob. I saw a lot of the Vt anti-Vance signs in the news. Love Vermonters!
Classic NYC!!! Love it. Thank you, Liza.
Be safe and be well.

I don't know if they collect water. My guess is no. THey just store it! Thank you!
I love your photos. That's all. Did you take with camera or phone?
Thank you, Allia!
Is it a cloud that's mocking or is it "The Cloud"? The latter and I have had a rocky relationship this week!
