This makes me think of the childhood challenge of rubbing your belly and patting your head at the same time, but on a whole different level!

That was fascinating! Different media, different tools... the familiar lines of your work. And an Impressive feat! Really fun... Even a slight thrill as you signed Donnelly -- having seen the signature on many of my fave NY cartoons.

I'm hoping hoping hoping to make it on the 21st.

As a former tech jounalist who remains obsessed with all things digital, you have to tell me: Which iPhone is giving you such exquisite video?

Also, I find it fascinating how just a few squiggles come together to represent your characters!

Amazing, your left hand being the camera person and your right being the subject, so cool. 🙏 FYI your iPhone may have a “cinematic” option (it’d be to the left of “video” and “photo” at the bottom of your screen when your camera is on), if so you could try that, too, for some possibly additional, beautiful filming qualities.

I saw that, Philip! You must explain to me how it is different. I tried to see the difference by quickly comparing a few short shots.....

The cinematic mode has smoother stabilization, and it also simulates the shallow depth of field effect that you get with a high quality lens. When in cinematic mode, in the upper right corner is an “f” button, when you press that a simulated f-stop slider appears above the red record button (and it says “depth”). Low f-stop numbers will simulate a very shallow depth of field (lots of blur) and high numbers will simulate a very wide dof (little to no blur).
