Grew up with the wise guy of women - our mom. At one point my brother even started a book of her throwaway lines..

So I’m with you. Can’t give more than my monthly amount right now but if I can I will send more. This is SO worthwhile!!!

What was your very first published cartoon of women laughing? Or do we get to see that in the documentary … 😀

Good question, I will look. Probably the one I posted, but that might be a good thing for the doc!

Once again, these are the adult versions of the Charlie Brown gatherings, and I can hear the adults laughing!

I’m sure you will reach your goal and so excited to see it when it’s finished. I have been inspired by funny women all my life - now doing some of my own cartoons I am humbled by the amazing legacy.

Ah, moms. I have to scrape but I'll contribute what I can--happily. Wish Mom could see your work; glad she didn't live to see the past Defendant 45--centered years. Same with Dad.

Back to humor. Because of Mom, I grew up with H. Allen Smith and Tom Lehrer. We were mutual fans of Molly Ivins. Mom always cracked us up and she told me that she married Dad because they shared the same sense of humor.
